Ingredients:

  • One dozen eggs

  • 8 oz. distilled white vinegar
  • 4 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • (2) 22-oz. mason jars
  • Everything bagel seasoning, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Place eggs in a large saucepan and fill with water until it covers the eggs. Place on high heat and once it comes to a boil, remove from heat and cover for ten minutes. Get an ice bath ready in a large bowl. After 10 minutes, place eggs in an ice bath for 3 minutes and quickly peel the eggs.
  2. Pour Wonder Beet Juice in a small saucepan. Fill Wonder Beet Juice bottle with the same amount of vinegar and add it to the saucepan. Add garlic cloves, oregano, and salt and allow to come to a low boil.
  3. Place peeled eggs in both mason jars and pour in hot beet brine. If necessary, top each jar with more water to cover eggs completely.
  4. Tighten the lid to both mason jars and refrigerate for 3 to 4 days before eating. Serve with Everything Bagel Seasoning, if desired.
  5. Makes 1 dozen pickled eggs

 

2. Lemon & Ginger Poached Salmon

  • 2 8-oz pieces of Atlantic salmon filet

  • 2 Cubes Dorot Gardens frozen ginger
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • Kosher salt and pepper
  • Fresh dill for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Wipe salmon filets with a paper towel and set aside.
  2. Pour both bottles of Wonder Lemon juice with ginger and soy sauce in a medium saucepan and allow to come to a simmer.
  3. Place salmon filets inside and cover. Cook for 8-12 minutes, depending on the thickness and desired doneness of your salmon, then remove.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with fresh dill.

 

3. Wonder Lemon Pancake Cake

Instructions:

  1. Follow the instructions on your instant pancake mix by replacing the liquid ingredient with Wonder Lemon Juice. Add any extra ingredients as indicated on the pancake mix package.
  2. Make a stack of pancakes, (about 8-12), about 6-8 inches wide, and place in the refrigerator to fully cool.
  3. In the meantime, make the citrus buttercream frosting by beating the butter until fluffy and adding the rest of the ingredients. Beat until combined.
  4. Assemble your pancakes by spreading buttercream on top of each pancake layer and frosting the sides until you have a fully frosted “cake”.
  5. Crush freeze-dried fruits and sprinkle throughout then drizzle maple syrup before serving.
